Love how you've played with S sounds and K sounds to add read-ability to your story! This is one of my revision weaknesses, I think. I tend to lean on alliteration and onomatopoeia and rhythm, versus using consonance and the like. Something I need to try more!
Alicia!!! So good to have you here at the kids table :) Yes, I feel you on that one. I am a big picture thinker first, so I think in structure. But I tend to need to remind myself to focus on how I can enhance my story with the details. It comes less naturally to think this way, but once I get going, I love it just as much!

Mostly puppy puns :) Also picked up The Bath House from the library on your recommendation. Looking forward to reading it!
