Why hello there!
Many of you know that I’m a long time fan of children’s book author Mac Barnett. His thoughts on children’s books—the form, the audience, the interaction between text and illustration—helped me realize that I wanted to make children’s books. I know I’m being a little dramatic when I say this but…that realization changed my life! Rather than tell you about it in a boring blah blah blah way (which I kinda already did here—oops), I made a creative nugget about it.
Onto the…
Creative nugget!

What’s your recommendation of the week?
Thanks for reading the CREATIVE NUGGET this week.
All the best from your children’s-book-obsessed friend,
